I think that in The Hunger Games Peeta Mallark is kind of like the shape shifter in the book. there are different ways where sometimes he looks like a good guy but other times where he look like a bad guy. In the beginning of the book Katniss, the main character, rememebers a time where Peeta had helped her and her family because he gave them bread. THis was at a time where Katniss and her family were poor and had no food so she was very greatful. She hasn't really talked to him since. but now that they are in the Hunger Games together they are getting to talk to each other more. That is a time where he seemed like a good person.
On the other hand thought when they were having the interview before the Hunger Games had started he confessed something about Katniss. He said that he actually loved Katniss!! Now when Katniss found out about this (when she saw it on T.V, because they show the interviews on Television) she got really mad at him. She actually went and pushed him down making his hand all cut with glass! She thinks that he embarrassed her by saying that. Thats how he seemed like a bad guy.
