The Rules of The Survival- Post 2
Continuing the book, The Rules of Survival, I have noticed that Murdoch is very caring person. Also Nikki is starting to be more of an outgoing person. I think this is because Murdoch is there. When Murdoch is there it changes her personality. Im not too sure if by her being there, that Murdoch's personality changes. He did seem caring at his first appearance in the book in the store. Nikki didn't really used to be outgoing. But you can tell that she is now because of the way she was at the beach. You could also tell that Murdoch was caring because he didn't want the kids to get hurt.

The Rules of Survival
In the book called The Rules of Survival, the main character, Matthew is writing to Emmy. He is saying what he is going through in his life. It so far seems pretty good. Is is explaining important times in his life. I think he wants Emmy to know how to go through life. He wants her not to make mistakes in her life that he might have made. I think that it is cool how the main character is writing a letter. And the reader is kind of like Emmy reading the letter. It would be good to know how Emmy thinks of the letter. Right now it seems like you are the main character Matthew. It would be even more like reading a letter if we can hear Emmy opinions on what Matthew is going through.

The Serpents Shadow-Relating to Philosphy
The Serpents Shadow is basically trying to defeat and evil Snake God named Apophis. This can connect to the Philosophical Term Existentialism. Existentialism is about how you should be "totally free." This book connects to that because they are basically fighting for Freedom. They want to save the Earth and it's citizens. They want Freedom on Earth because if Apophis takes over then the Earth will be in his control. This book can also relate to the Philosophical Term Fatalism. It could be Carter and Sadie's (The two main Characters in the book) fate that they have to defeat Apophis. I think that it is their fate and it also could be Apophis's fate that he takes over the world. Overall this books connects to both Existentialism and Fatalism.

The Serpents Shadow-Book3
So Far in The Serpents Shadow, Carter and Saide have still been working hard to find out a way to defeat Apophis. They want to use his Shadow to try and defeat him but they dont know enough about the Shadow Capturing magic. Meanwhile Walt is getting closer to dying from his Curse. They actually now need Walt because he has the Amulet magic that can help them. So basically its a "race" or Deadline to defeat Apophis before he takes over Earth. They need to do this before Walt dies and Apophis gets stronger everyday. He has been attacking numerous places and he wants to get rid of things that can help Sadie And Carter such as the book Setne wrote. Now that all of those book are gone, they have lost a big clue. Setne has been dead for a long time now but they might actually see him again through the power of magic....

The Serpents Shadow
I have been really excited to read this book. It is the last book in the Kane Chronicles. In this book we find out if Sadie and Carter can defeat Apophis who is trying to take over the world. So to do that they need to find out ways to defeat him. They need to prepare for the fight. But unfortunately its not going to be so easy. They have found out that there is a book that can help them/clue them on Apophis's defeat. But Apophis himself is going around the earth destroying those books.
Cater and Sadie need to get the book in time before Apophis gets there. But when they get to the book, he is there3 too. Now they must fight an unexpected fight. But since this was in the beginning of the book, it wont be there last. In other words he wont kill them just yet. Or they wont kill him just yet....

The Lost Hero.....
In the book the lost hero there is kind of some suspense. When they are the the Grand Canyon their coach notices a storm. Later we find out that these are storm spirits. It gives a bid twist on the book because now, things are magic. Before it was just kind of realistic. I actually like that it took this turn because it makes the book have more to it and it gives you more to wonder about.
The storm spirits start to attack everyone and basically the coach is telling everyone to get inside. Btu some important things are reviled during this scene. It is reviled that the coach is actually a faun. There is also suspense here because Jason's friends falls off the side but is hanging on by something. Now the coach must save him (Or maybe even Jason because now he might have some sort of powers too that he doesn't know about) I really hope that the other main character will get powers too because it will make the book a lot more interesting and complex.

The Lost Hero
In the book The Lost Hero the main character Jason has no memory of anything. I think that is a interesting way to start the book. If the character starts out with no memory it kind of makes you feel like you are the character. This is because Jason doesn't know anything just like you. In other words what is new to him is new to you. This also gives a big twist on the book because Jason has to be introduced to things that already happened. I wonder if he will remember anything. I also wonder if there are things that his best friends and girlfriend don't want him to remember...
I also like how in the book there is still a feeling of magic. They have to go fight storm spirits. It kind of reminds me of the authors other series, The Kane Chronicles. I think that that is a good thing because it combines old with new.
